The Quest
by Pam Binder
Description
Scotland, 1328
Ana de Dannon conjures the greatest champion of the ages, Cuchulainn, the legendary Irish warrior. Only he could defeat Ana’s evil half-brother, Roderick, and free her mother, Rhiannon, from Edinburgh Tower.
In a perversely generous gesture – as he knows no man in the land will face him – Roderick has offered to release any prisoner whose champion can defeat him in a tournament.
But the powerful man Ana conjures is not Cuchulainn, though the word Warrior is written on his strange and colorful garment…and his face is hidden beneath a massive helmet. Ana has mistakenly called forth Kenneth MacKinnon, NFL football quarterback for the Seattle Warriors. But he may be the hero she needs after all, if he learns to do battle for something greater than his own glory – the love of a fair maiden.
REVIEW
I simply fell in love with Ana and Mac.
She needed a warrior and cast a spell to bring him to her. Little did she know she would bring the man she was destine to love. For Mac his life as a super star professional sports icon wasn’t all he thought it was. until he was brought to Ana. Finding the simpler life brought more meaning to him and the love he thought he never find for him self.
Reading about Mac learning about him self and Ana’s courage and bravery in a time women meant practically nothing, Kept me glued to the story line and I was left wanting more of story line of Quest.
I hope this author will visit the idea of additional quests that Ana and Mac could face
